I have been employed with Earl's since 2001. I still remember the day I drove by the store and saw a sign that read "salesman needed apply within". I didn't know the first thing about swimming pools, I just needed a job, badly. I walked in, Lynn was in the office,(which I found out later was a miracle, it being spring and pool season was just getting started) I sat down and two days later I was officially a salesman. Fast forward two months and I was handed the reins of the store as manager. I have learned so much here, chemical maintenance, pool and spa repair and maintenance, pool sales and installations, and so much more. But the lessons I've learned that mean the most are the ones that have made me a better person. Customer service has long been forgotten in today's society, I pride myself in knowing that Lynn, Josh, and myself have bent over backwards to make our customers happy. A strong work ethic is also a rare commodity, but working with these guys has taught me how to devote myself to the task at hand and do it with excellence. I have found out that you never stop learning, as I found out heading up the service department. It has been a great experience working in this industry as well as for Earl's Pools.
